Employed
I just got a job working as a hostess at a Thai restaurant on 2nd avenue and 81st street. HUGE sigh of relief after landing this job.
*does the happy dance*
But my poor little heart is screaming, “there goes all that’s left of my freedom and social life this summer.” No more unplanned weekends and less time for spontaneous adventures. My summer will consist of school and work from here on in. I guess I shouldn’t be complaining: more $$$ for me and nine credits closer to graduation.
